Warren Ward is on the move.
The London Lightning have traded the shooting guard's signing rights to the Windsor Express, the National Basketball League of Canada has announced.
Windsor will be sending the signing rights to Maurice Bolden - who was drafted by the NBA Development League's Austin Spurs in October - and to former Saint John Mill Rats forward Doug Herring Jr.
The Express had received Herring Jr.'s rights after trading Chris Commons to the Atlantic Division team.
The London Free Press's Morris Dalla Costa had reported last week the Lightning had matched a contract offer for Ward from the Niagara River Lions to keep him.
Ward had averaged 12.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game last season including the team's NBLC Finals run, according to RealGM.
