Titans looking to name team mascot

Have you ever wanted to name a mascot for a sports team?

The Kitchener-Waterloo Titans are allowing fans that opportunity.

The expansion franchise is asking on social media what people would like the team's new mascot to be called.

They are doing the poll through Facebook and Twitter.

The four options available include Titus the Titan, Tyson the Titan, Tyrus the Titan and Tommy the Titan.

Titus the Titan is leading the polls with 43 per cent of the vote on Twitter at the time of this writing.

Kitchener-Waterloo will be collecting ballots until Dec. 15. The team will unveil the mascot's name during its preseason press conference that day.
