The Niagara River Lions have signed two young players in preparation for their preseason match-up this evening.

Niagara has added Canadian guard Rotimi Osuntola Jr. and former Tennessee Tech University guard Josiah Moore, per NBLCNET’s Jake Beckett:

River Lions head coach Grâce Lokole had no comment about the reported signings because they have not been officially announced by the franchise at the time of this writing.

Osuntola Jr., a Windsor, Ont. native, played four seasons with the University of Windsor Lancers. In his final year with the Lancers in 2014-15, the six-foot-five guard averaged 18.7 points per game and 11.6 rebounds per game in seven appearances. He most recently played for Agustinos-Eras E. Leclerc Leon in LEB Silver in Spain.

As for Moore, a six-foot-five guard and Atlanta native, he is coming to the River Lions after playing collegiately for the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. During his college career, he averaged 7.9 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game and one assist per game. He had transferred to the school after playing 15 games during his freshman season with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The River Lions start their preseason tonight against the NBA Development League’s Raptors 905. That match-up tips off at the Meridian Centre at 7 p.m. EST.
